Unfortunately very little is known about Harry Ostergaard
the only information that we have is resumed to only few words
He was a danish furniture designer in the 1950s-1970s and he designed furniture mostly for Randers Møbelfabrik
set of 6 dining chairs model 61 designed by Harry Ostergaard and manufactured by Randers Mobelfabrik, Denmark 1961.
The chairs are made in solid rosewood we think that it is either honduras rosewood or santos rosewood that we haven't been able to identify it yet as we haven't stripped the chairs from their original varnish so we must investigate further and make further tests. We are keeping them in their original condition as The chairs have their original black leather seats which is still in a very good condition. Some of the chairs are stamped at the bottom with the number " 61 "
They are in their original condition, not stripped, not sanded, not reupholstered and not altered. We are selling them as they are so we have adjusted the price accordingly.
