DETAIL-3.jpg

The table is in its vintage condition, slightly restored but the top still needs some love and attention. It is a preloved furniture and It carries the age patina and it should be restored accordingly.

The legs and the structure are in solid rosewood it has a cites that says Dalbergia nigra but I doubt that it is " Rio Rosewood ". It might carry some rio rosewood veneer but In our opinion the top veneer is most likely Honduras rosewood " Dalbergia stevensonii "  it is nearly impossible to make sure as the wood was treated and lacquered. The solid wood parts for the structure  are in my opinion pau ferro " Machaerium scleroxylon " however further tests and analysis will be carried out to try identify what kind of wood the table is made of.
